Email Address (userinfo.email): We access your email address to identify your account and personalize the service. This helps us ensure that the AI-generated responses are tailored to your specific tone and associated only with your account.
Basic Profile Info (userinfo.profile): We access basic profile information (e.g., name, profile picture) to improve personalization within the extension interface. This data is not stored or shared.
2.2 Local Storage
We store your authentication token and personalization preferences using Chrome's local storage API. This ensures your preferences are preserved across sessions without storing sensitive data on our servers.
3. Use of Data
3.1 Gmail Content
Email content is temporarily accessed and processed to provide context-aware response suggestions.
Content is transmitted securely to our AWS Lambda function, where it is analyzed and used to query OpenAI’s API.
We DO NOT store the content of your emails permanently.
We DO NOT use your data to train global AI or ML models.
3.2 Email Address and Profile
Your email and profile information are used to identify your account and maintain session continuity.
This information is never sold, transferred, or used for marketing purposes.
It is stored securely and only used to personalize your experience.
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
4.1 Third-Party Services
OpenAI API: We transmit anonymized email content to OpenAI's API for generating responses. OpenAI's use of this data is governed by their privacy policy. OpenAI does not receive your email address or identity information.
Amazon Web Services (AWS): We use AWS Lambda to securely process and route requests. AWS has no access to your email or personal data beyond routing the request.
4.2 No Additional Disclosure
We do not share, sell, or disclose your information to advertisers, marketing platforms, or data brokers.
5. Data Retention
Email content is processed in real time and discarded immediately after generating a response.
Your email address and token are stored securely and only as long as you use the service.

We use HTTPS, OAuth2.0, and server-side encryption standards to ensure your data remains secure. We implement technical and organizational measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, misuse, or disclosure.
